Best Watches

Finding the best watches has not been easy as there is a lot to consider when defining “best”! For instance, is it the best watch technologically, the cheapest, the most expensive or the watch from the most famous watch manufacturer?? So what I have decided to do with this article is give a taster of all the different definitions of “best” to find the best watches in different categories. In my opinion the “best” watches are those that offer the best value for money in terms of looks and functionality at the price.

For those who haven’t got the time, see what I did there, to read through the whole review, here are the best of the best:

Citizen Men’s JY8030-83E NAVIHAWK

citizen-watches-mens-jy8030-83e-review

This beautifully detailed Navihawk Citizen watch is a real stunner, and comes with all of Citizen’s famous technology at just over the $500 mark, well under $1000! It’s got Eco-Drive as well as auto-adjusting atomic time keeping in a total of 46 world cities! There is no one part of this watch that really makes it special, it’s the design as a whole. The beautiful close link mesh chain watch strap, the functional yet smart watch face and the black dial offset with white numerals. This watch is drop dead gorgeous! A true dress watch, but also one that could comfortably be worn smart casual or in a work environment. It features anti-reflective crystal instead of glass and water resistance up to 200m (660ft or 20 Bar).

THE BEST WATCH OVERALL?

Personally my favourite is the Navihawk from Citizen. It’s a stunning watch at a fantastic price at just over $500. Technologically it’s smart with the Eco-Drive and auto-adjusting atomic clock, looks sharp with the close link mesh bracelet and beautiful black dial with white markings, and finally it has all the additional functionality you could need, including water resistance to 200m (660ft).
